Results
Graduates have acquired in-depth knowledge and understanding that corresponds to the latest discoveries in the field of forestry science or professional field and that provide a basis for creative thinking or research, including by working in forestry and forest ecology or forest work and the interface of technical or forest economics and policies.
Graduates have skills that independently use theory, methods, and problem-solving skills to carry out research activities or highly qualified professional functions in forestry and forest ecology, forest work and technique, or forest economics and politics. They are able to explain and discuss complex or systemic aspects of the forest science industry or professional field with both specialists and non-specialists. Graduates can independently direct the improvement and specialization of their competencies, take responsibility for the results of the work of personnel groups and their analysis, conduct business, and innovations in the field of forestry science or profession, carry out work, research, or further learning in complex and unpredictable conditions and, if necessary, transform them using new approaches.
It is competent to independently formulate and critically analyze complex scientific and professional problems in a particular enterprise and the country in forestry and forest ecology, in forest work and technique, or forest economics and policy, to justify decisions and, if necessary, to conduct additional analysis. It is competent to integrate knowledge from different fields, contribute to the creation of new knowledge, the development of research or methods of professional activity, to demonstrate understanding and ethical responsibility regarding the possible impact of the results of forestry research or professional training on the environment and society, as well as to explain and discuss complex or systemic aspects of forestry science or professional field with both specialists and non-specialists. It is appropriate to continue studies in doctoral studies.
