Saskaņā ar 2021. gada 3. jūnija likumu "Grozījumi Augstskolu likumā" (pieejams šeit), kas stājies spēkā ar 2021. gada 23. jūniju.

Jaunu akreditācijas lapu izsniegšana nav nepieciešama, jo termiņi ir noteikti minētajā likumā:
- studiju virzienus "Mākslas", "Reliģija un teoloģija", "Vēsture un filozofija", "Ģeogrāfijas un zemes zinātnes", "Dzīvās dabas zinātnes", "Ķīmija, ķīmijas tehnoloģijas un biotehnoloģija", "Fizika, materiālzinātne, matemātika un statistika" un "Informācijas tehnoloģija, datortehnika, elektronika, telekomunikācijas, datorvadība un datorzinātne" akreditē līdz 2023. gada 31. decembrim. Minēto studiju virzienu akreditācijas termiņš tiek pagarināts līdz brīdim, kad tiek pieņemts lēmums par studiju virziena akreditāciju vai lēmums par atteikumu akreditēt studiju virzienu, bet ne ilgāk kā līdz 2023. gada 31. decembrim;

Results
The aim of the programme is to ensure students’ acquisition of theoretical knowledge in chemistry and its sub-branches, as well as to develop skills and abilities of scientific research work.
An opportunity to obtain knowledge, corresponding to contemporary level, skills of independent planning and doing researches and competence for work in the spheres of biomedicine and chemistry of renewable resources have been ensured.
Within the study programme theoretical and practical knowledge in chemistry science and its sub-branches heva been obtained.
Specialists of chemistry of renewable resources have gained understanding of contents and possible application modes of renewable resources, chemical reactions in the process of processing and chemical indicators of quality of finished products, as well as topical current global and local problems in the sphere of application of material resources and their possible solutions.
Methodology of researches of natural resources and their processing, skills of planning and doing researches, ability to critically evaluate the acquired results, to do data analysis and interpretation, skills of presentation and public defence of the research results have been acquired.
Specialists of practical bioanalytics have gained knowledge in testing methods in microbiology, parasitology, genetics, biotechnology, clinical chemistry and biochemistry, serology, histology, assurance of quality system in laboratory, legislation and safety in biomedicine laboratory.
