Results
Acquire knowledge in forest soils, silviculture, dendrology and botany, forest protection, business economics, applied physics and chemistry, as well as forest policy and economics, GIS and forest mapping, use of non-wood forest products, plant physiology, forest regeneration and breeding, multi-purpose forest management, and also about the possibilities and technologies of further processing of wood, including pre-treatment and post-treatment of wood, hydrothermal treatment of wood, logistics of wood materials. Knows about the design and development of scientific research. Knows forest and related industries, their terminology, as well as stages of sustainable forest management.
Knows how to constantly apply industry-specific knowledge and digital solutions in forest management practice, is able to analyze information related to sustainable forest management planning processes, their impact on the environment and processes related to climate change. Able to argue reasonably with society and specialists in the field, as well as solve problem situations independently.
Is competent to work independently in the planning and practical implementation of forest management, to introduce new ones and to perform a critical analysis of existing forest management solutions.
