Results
Upon completion of the study programme, students will acquire and be able to demonstrate:
KNOWLEDGE:
•of the principles of dialectical logic and their role in the development of the theory of sub-branches of law;
•of the content of qualitative and quantitative methods and how they can be used in high-level scientific research;
•of the theoretical substantiation of the organisation of state service activities in the provision of regional and national security;
•of the latest concepts of security authorities’ performance in national and international institutions;
•of opportunities and techniques of modern information technology, data processing and presentation.

SKILLS:
•to select and process literature and empirical data related to the research topic;
•to conduct qualitative and quantitative researches related to the research topic;
•to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to a certain research topic;
•to identify and critically analyse security concerns and risks related to individuals and the region with a view to finding an effective solution to these problems;
•to critically analyse the results obtained and present them at international scientific conferences;
•to communicate freely on topical issues in the branch of law and scientific research with specialists of one’s own branch and other branches, defending one’s own methodological position regarding the issues important for the development of the region.

COMPETENCE:
•analysing critically basic concepts and theories of the sub-branches of law and the practice of law enforcement;
•logical substantiation and consistency of personal methodological point of view when solving significant research or innovative tasks;
•teaching courses related to the sub-branches of criminal law, police law and criminalistics in higher education institutions;
•conducting research on the security risks of the region and the possibilities of their neutralisation;
•generating new legal constructions and ideas by developing mechanisms for their implementation.
