Results
1) Is able to demonstrate advanced or expanded knowledge and understanding, some of which is in line with the latest findings and trends in music-related sub-disciplines and the specific professional field (Historical Musicology, Ethnomusicology, Systematic Musicology), and which provides a basis for creative thinking and research, including working at the interface between different fields.
2) Is able to independently apply theories, various methods and skills to carry out scientific research and artistic research activities in one’s specialisation.
3) Is able to explain and discuss complex or systemic aspects of the music industry and the musician's professional field in a reasoned manner with both specialists and non-specialists.
4) Is able to independently direct the development of competences in his/her specialisation; take responsibility for the results and analysis of the work of teams of staff (research or artistic project or cultural education institution).
5) Is able to carry out entrepreneurial activities (management of cultural institutions, research groups or individual artistic projects, private practice as a teacher); to implement innovations in the field of music in one’s field of specialisation.
6) Is able to carry out research or further learning (continuing education, PhD) in complex and unpredictable environments and, if necessary, to modify them using new approaches.
7) Is able to integrate knowledge from different fields, contribute to the creation of new knowledge, the development of research or professional methods, and demonstrate an understanding of and ethical responsibility for the potential impact of scientific results or professional activities on the environment and society.
8) Is able to formulate and critically analyse complex professional and scientific problems related to music independently, to justify decisions and, if necessary, to carry out further analysis.
