Results
The aim of the programme is:
– to prepare professional, qualified and competitive managers, who would establish new enterprises or take leading positions in the existing enterprises within the creative industry or creative business sector and would be able to provide a high creativity potential and the added value to ensure enterprise long term competiveness in the national and international market.
Learning outcomes:
– to assess and analyse the business environment, its economic, social and technological context, as well as business policies and regional development tendencies;
– to compare and contrast different theoretical and practical approaches to business management and leadership in the sector of creative industries;
– to assess and analyse the innovation theory, practice and policy aspects, with special emphasis on creative industries;
– to analyse, synthesise, and critically examine the issues of business policy and the sector of creative industries;
– to analyse and evaluate different types of data and information. Develop the ability to use and manipulate a variety of numerical data to solve mathematically based problems, apply and interpret statistical data;
– to manage the creative industry companies, analysing the planning and control of the company’s strategic, financial, human resources, marketing activities;
– manage the business development and resource acquisition policy;
– to enhance independent research activities, prepare detailed and accurate reports of the study and give clear and sound presentations;
– to gain input from other sectors to achieve quality results and be able to understand different groups of interests, obtain good communication skills and conflict management;
– to obtain good project management skills including time management, prioritisation of critical tasks, meeting management and self-study evaluation.
During the study programme students are involved in internship, develop and defend Master thesis.
