Learning outcomes to be achieved
- a completed doctoral thesis has been independently drafted, which has significant theoretical relevance and practical use prospects and contains original research results, and provides new insights into the relevant field or sub-field of science;
- competences relevant to the level of international achievements of the relevant field of science, enabling to start independent professional, scientific or academic activities.
Competences:
Capable of resolving important research or innovation tasks in the fields of social sciences and interdisciplinary fields through independent, critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation;
Capable of independently proposing an idea for research, planning, structuring and managing large-scale scientific projects in business and economics, including international projects;
Capable of demonstrating that they know and understand latest social science theories and scientific insights, can use state-of-the-art research methods and methodologies relevant to social sciences;
Capable of resolving important research or innovation tasks, developing new research methods and methodologies through independent, critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation;
Capable of independently analysing the obtained results and drawing respective conclusions;
Capable of independently planning a research, managing research or development tasks in organisations requiring extensive research knowledge and skills;
Capable of analytical and critical evaluation of the material being studied, integrating theoretical knowledge into the research process, exposing problems, generating and developing new ideas;
Capable of increasing own scientific qualification independently, carrying out scientific projects, gaining achievements that correspond to international criteria in economics and business;
