Learning outcomes:
To demonstrate characteristic for pedagogy basic and specialized knowledge and critical understanding of this knowledge, including part of the knowledge that contains the highest achievements in pedagogy;
– demonstrate understanding of the most important notions and regularities of the field of pedagogy, as well as demonstrate many-sided and specialized knowledge and understanding of facts, theories, regularities and technologies adequate to sport field;
– applying the obtained theoretical bases and skills, carry out professional, innovative and research activity in the sport field;
– independently obtain, select and analyze information and use it;
– make decisions and solve problems in the field of pedagogy and sport pedagogy;
– understand professional ethics of a sports pedagogue;
– assess the effect of own professional activity on environment and society;
– formulate and analytically characterize information, problems and solutions in the field of pedagogy and sport pedagogy, explain and discuss them with both specialists and non-specialists using arguments;
– independently structurize own studies, direct own and subordinates’ further education and professional development;
– demonstrate scientific approach in problem solution;
– undertake responsibility and initiative, working individually, in a team or running other people’s work;
– make decisions and find solutions in changing or uncertain conditions.
