Results
As a result of completing the study program, the graduate:
1. Has improved specialized knowledge, skills and professional competence in audiovisual arts, as well as basic knowledge and skills in performing arts, ensuring a set of knowledge, skills and competences of students in accordance with the knowledge, skills and competence of level 6 of the Framework specified in the Latvian Classification of Education
2. Students can demonstrate specialized knowledge and critical understanding of this knowledge in art science and artistic creation. The knowledge of the student in the field of audiovisual arts is appropriate to the level of the highest achievements of the field. In the field of performing arts the student acquires an understanding of the most important concepts and regularities.
3. Using the acquired theoretical foundations and practical skills, students are able to carry out professional, artistic or research activities in the field of audiovisual art. Students are able to formulate and analytically describe information, problems and solutions in the subfield of art science "Theory of Cinema and Theater". Students are able to explain the most important issues of audiovisual art and reasoned debate about them with both specialists and non-specialists. Students are able to independently structure their studies, strive for academic and professional improvement, are able to demonstrate a scientific and professional approach to solving problems, take responsibility and initiative when working individually or in a team, as well as managing the work of other people, are able to make decisions and find creative solutions in changing conditions.
4. Students are able to independently acquire, select and analyze art science information and use it in the field of audiovisual art, are able to make decisions and solve problems in audiovisual art research and creation, understand professional ethics, are able to evaluate the impact of their professional activities on the environment and society, and professionally operate the audiovisual arts industry development and improvement.
